Managing your Inbox
Hit the ‘mute’
Gmail offers a means to tune out disturbing email conversations like ‘muting.’ Muted conversations bypass the inbox and go straight to the archive. You just have to open a message you want to add to the to-do list or just choose the checkbox next to it in the inbox. Click on ‘More’ then on Add to Tasks or press Shift + T. the item will be added to the task list in the lower-right corner of the Gmail window. Click on the task list to add a due date &notes, see related messages, or move it to another list.
Back up your messages
We all take up the most important Gmail messages will be there when we need them, but it is best not to lure fate. As with any other essential data, a backup is a necessity! Google lets you do it without the desire for third-party software. Go to Google’s data download page and scroll down to Gmail. Click on the drop-down menu on the right to download all the mail or just particular labels.
